Live Facial Recognition on Tottenham Court Road - results

Good afternoon, 

On the 9th April 2026 officers from Camden Neighbourhood Policing undertook a Live Facial Recognition operation on Tottenham Court Road. Officers from local Wards including Bloomsbury, and those from Camden and Euston Town Centre Teams were deployed along with specialist officers. 

As a result, a number of arrests were made: 

1 x Wanted for breaching community requirement order

2 x Breach of sex offenders notification requirements 

1 x Wanted for FTA 

1 x Wanted for FTA

1 x wanted for recall and theft in Manchester area

1 x wanted for DV Harassment 

Such operations are part of our commitment to making Bloomsbury, and the wider Camden area safe and welcoming for all.
